The Investigative Approach in Primary School: Analysis of the Place Given to This Approach in Science Teaching Textbooks
Keywords:

The investigative approach is increasingly demonstrating its potential in teaching. Indeed, it allows students to develop the skills, attitudes and interests necessary to live in a society increasingly dependent on the applications of science. This study is part of the research work questioning the application of the investigative approach in the teaching of science at the primary level. We carried out an analytical study of primary school science textbooks in order to identify the investigative tools that can help teachers to manage the teaching and learning process using an analysis grid. Based on this tool, comparisons were made and an analysis was carried out.Downloads
